About the Event
Yin Yoga practice grounds us, it helps us maximise the flexibility, and to maintain healthy joints, connective tissues, function of inner organs. It gives us opportunity to go inwards to observe what’s happening inside the skin in our body. Yin also complements to your Yang practice to become stronger. Yin Yoga is passive, simple but it does not mean easy. We hold the pose long periods 5-20 minutes each. In our Yin Yoga practice, we stimulate the flow of Chi through acupressure by simply massaging, compressing, or stretching the tissues that lie along the meridian lines we can also stimulate energy flow and rebalance our systems. And do not get surprised when you see emotions surfacing during the deep practice. What you may feel is not only physical sensations in the body, but strong emotions. Our emotion is embodied "issues in our tissues", our Organs are the home for emotions, emotions are rooted in Organs and our organs affect our emotions. So, it is part of the practice to see the release of emotion as well as tension, blockage. Yin Yoga works the total person: our body, heart, mind, and soul.
