Sicily Yoga + Meditation Retreat - Yoga Holiday

The program:

This is a 7 days Yoga retreat that focuses on people’s progression in their Yoga practice. When I say Yoga practice, I also include all the other aspects of yoga (Ashtanga = Eight Limbs of Yoga) such as Yama, Nyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, Samadhi. If you do not know these, No worries, that is why this program is here for. And I will explain more for those who want to understand better. Western Yoga has the impression of physical practice of Yoga but what attracted me initially to be a teacher was its spiritual practice of Yoga. Have you heard “Yoga changed me”? It did the magic to me, it changed for me to look at and respond to things in a way that is more in harmony. And there are more to learn, endless offers.

You will be stronger after these 7 days intensive practice physically and mentally and also hopefully to find harmony and balance in life.

There will be daily practice of yoga, meditation and hope you will also enjoy and rest of the island during this time. 

It is the most beautiful island in Italy so enjoy the weather, food, island tour during your stay too. It is all about balance. 

The venue:

The venue selected is nested in the heart of the Madonie mountain park, a few miles from Gangi – “Most beautiful village in Italy” prize winner – and about 40km from the enchanting fishermen village of Cefalù. The yoga and meditation retreat centre in a 17th century “Masseria”, wonderfully restored respecting her ancient feudal structure. Surrounded by the silence offered by its enclosed 25 hectares park, at 650 mts above the sea level, you will be able to walk for hours in the secret inner paths and in the hidden centuries-old oak forest, get lost in the labyrinth garden of the 18th century, explore the banks of our “private” river, meditate or practice yoga at sunrise or sunset in the terrace overlooking the mountains and the valley or just sunbathing and swimming in the infinity pool.

To BOOK, please get in touch to specify the room preference and advance deposit payment to secure the space. Booking is only confirmed when deposit is paid fully, which is non-refundable.

Remaining payment is due to be paid in full three months in advance. 

Booking less than three months in advance will need to pay remaining cost following the instruction that will be sent after the deposit payment.

There will be additional activities / excursions you can book separately through the venue: Trekking, Nordic walking, Mountain Bike, Climbing, River crossing by boat, River trail. If you are interested in any of these activities, please get in touch for further information. 

Also shuttle service is available to go to local towns for the day.
