INVERSIONS AND ARM BALANCE TECHNIQUES

About the Event
On the day:
We will go through drills and conditioning work for strengthening and to improve the flexibility.
We will breakdown each inversion and arm balance, how to enter and exit safely. We will also practice them in the transitions between poses. So we will fly and float.
It may be the mind stuff that is being an obstacle for your inversions so we will also focus how we use the breathing technique to control the mind.
There are lots of variations to play around to find your way.
I have been practicing yoga and teaching yoga with joy and passion for decades and still love it more and more. Initially, I was scared of falling from inversions but still wanted to master them. It was fascinating to explore the possibilities that I never knew existed in us by this exploration and it gave me more confidence.
I taught myself to press up rather than jumping up as it seems more of control, which I still prefer to do as I feel my breath stays steady and things are smoothe this way.
The key is to stay open minded, be curious, never underestimate yourself, and trust yourself that you can and it is the practice that makes it happen.
